My baby is walking...

It all started Thursday night where Lee and Bret were having Bella take a few steps back and forth to each other just so she could have a sip of diet coke. I know- bribing my child with Diet Coke. Hey, it worked and that's that! Anyways, she would get up and walk a couple feet and then sit down. It was like that all weekend, until FINALLY she just starts walking all by herself like she has been doing it forever. Now, she only crawls if she's trying to get somewhere FAST.

All this time I've been wanting my baby to walk just so I could get a little bit of space. And now that she's independent and walks by herself everywhere, I want her to be a less independent. Ugh- this is all so bittersweet. I'll come back by with a picture and maybe a video, if I can figure out how to put one on here.

The beginning...

I can never really get into blogging! I wish I was one of those people who could just write about anything. Why can't I just flip a switch and just start typing everything that comes to mind? I guess having a toddler who destroys the house all day everyday (even after I clean) could be a reason why I give up on sitting in front of the computer long enough to input my thoughts. Good thing for naps though, huh?

And so here I begin...

New to this...

So, yeah- I've officially joined the blogging bandwagon. Woo hoo!! "Blogging" is totally new to me, but I've been told that it's the best way for family and friends to see how we are doing since we are military. Ah yes- the military- meaning we move often and have to start our lives all over again. Getting acquainted with the area, finding a new church, making new friends, etc. I guess it can be good for some people- starting over that is. For me, however, well let's just say I cherish my friends here and when it's our time to move again, I'm going to deeply miss them!!! That's it for now, goodbye and good night.
